Financial aid

The needs of employees with family should be met in times of skill shortages. The reconciliation of family and career often plays a major role, especially for professionals. However, more money does not necessarily mean better terms or opportunities for the employee. Targeted financial assistance can be more helpful than a higher gross salary. Recreational allowances, shopping vouchers, travel allowances, exemptions without financial losses, improved pension options, care subsidies or additional occasional payments are just some of the possible options.

A part-time mother with tax bracket 5 is helped far more with a childcare allowance or other net-effective benefits than with a classic salary increase. The annual payment of a recovery allowance also has a positive effect on the whole family, since here, in addition to the employee, the spouses and children can also get something.

In many cases, the monetary support of your employees is not solely at the expense of the employer. The relief of the employer ranges from tax advantages to subsidies to the complete assumption of costs. Talk to your tax advisor about possible models. You can also consult with the employer service centres or the business promotion department.
