PROPOSAL OF EDITORIAL
The Regional Directorate of Saxony with seat in Chemnitz is the interface between the ten Saxon employment agencies and the Headquarters as part of the federal employment agency in Nuremberg. It is service provider for the Saxon economy and the agencies for work in Saxony, as well as partner of all actors in the labour market. In particular, the cooperation among the core tasks of the Regional Directorate with the highest authorities of the State of Saxony and the national authorities and organisations. For example, the Regional Directorate is actively involved in the initiation and implementation of special labour market, employment and training programs of the Saxony. Among other tasks are the responsibility of the Regional Directorate after the heavy Disability Act.
