SMWA - Saxon Ministry of Economy, Labour and Transport

The Saxon State Ministry for Economy, Labour and Transport has the main task to support the economy in Saxony. This includes in particular the many small and medium-sized enterprises that dominate the Saxon economic landscape. In addition, the Ministry is also responsible for strengthening the labour market. The focus here is on bringing companies and skilled workers together and promoting the region as an attractive place to work. The transport sector deals with the planning and expansion of transport routes in Saxony, the optimal connection of all cities and regions as well as the expansion of the long-distance transport network.
